A few good questions.

What is 10 Minute Mail?+

A disposable email inbox that lasts for 10 minutes. Use it to sign up for things, verify a download, or test an email flow without giving out your real address.

Is it really free?+

Yes. No signup, no payment, no tracking. The service is intentionally cheap to operate so it can stay free without monetizing visitors.

Can I extend the timer?+

Yes — click "+10 min" to add another 10 minutes, up to 60 minutes total. After that, the inbox is permanently destroyed.

Can I send email from this address?+

No. The service is receive-only on purpose — it keeps abuse low and operating costs near zero.

Is my mail private?+

Bodies are stored only until the inbox expires, then deleted by the cleanup cron. We don't share or sell anything because there's nothing to share — no accounts, no profiles, no ad partners.

Why does it expire so fast?+

Because the most common use case — sign-up verifications — takes seconds. A short TTL also means we keep nothing about you for any longer than necessary.
